Morning at Sukoon Orphanage
Amaira woke up early to the gentle rays of the sun filtering through her window. She stretched and smiled, feeling a sense of purpose and joy. Today was going to be a busy day. She had her morning duties at the orphanage, college classes, and an outing with her friend Tara.
She made her way to the kitchen, where Dadi was already bustling about, preparing breakfast for the children.
"Good morning, Dadi," Amaira greeted warmly, wrapping her arms around the elderly woman.
"Good morning, beta," Dadi replied, her eyes crinkling with affection. "You have a busy day ahead. Are you ready?"
"Always," Amaira said with a grin. "I'll help with breakfast, and then I have to head to college."
As they worked together, Dadi couldn't help but notice the sparkle in Amaira's eyes. "You seem extra happy today. Any particular reason?"
Amaira shrugged, a soft blush coloring her cheeks. "Just excited about the day, I guess. And... I met someone interesting recently."( The someone interesting is tara here guyss)
"Oh?" Dadi raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Anyone I should know about?"
Amaira laughed. "Just a friend, Dadi. Nothing more. Now, let's get these pancakes ready before the kids wake up."
At College
After ensuring the children had their breakfast, Amaira hurried to college. She met Tara at the entrance, and they exchanged warm hugs.
"Hey, Amaira di ! You look radiant today," Tara remarked, noticing her friend's glowing demeanor.
"Thanks, Tara. Just feeling good, I guess," Amaira replied.
As they walked to their classes, they chatted about their plans for the day. After their lectures, they decided to do some shopping nearby.
"I need to buy some new jhumkas and bangles," Tara said. "Will you come with me?"
"Of course! I love shopping for jewelry," Amaira replied enthusiastically.
They spent the afternoon browsing through colorful stalls, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Tara was the first to get excited when she spotted a pair of intricate silver jhumkas.
"Di , look at these!" Tara exclaimed, holding up the earrings. "Aren't they beautiful?"
Amaira examined them and nodded approvingly. "They are! You should try them on."
Tara put them on and turned to Amaira. "What do you think?"
"They look amazing on you," Amaira said with a smile. "But I think you should also try these." She pointed to a pair of delicate gold jhumkas with tiny red stones.
Tara's eyes lit up as she tried on the gold jhumkas. "These are lovely! But I can't decide between the two."
Amaira chuckled. "Why not get both? They suit you perfectly."
Tara laughed. "You're right. I might just do that."
Next, it was Amaira's turn to try on some jewelry. Tara found a pair of elegant pearl-studded jhumkas and handed them to Amaira. "These would look great on you."
Amaira tried them on and turned to Tara. "How do they look?"
"Beautiful! You should definitely get them," Tara said, nodding enthusiastically.
As they continued shopping, Tara spotted a bangle set with intricate designs. "Amaira, you have to see these bangles. They'd go perfectly with your traditional outfits."
Amaira admired the bangles and tried them on. "You're right. They're perfect."
After purchasing their jewelry, they decided to take a break and grabbed some chai from a nearby stall.
"This was fun," Amaira said as they sipped their tea. "We should do this more often."
"Absolutely," Tara agreed. "It's always great spending time with you."
At Malhotra Industries
Meanwhile, at Malhotra Industries, Ahaan was busy in his office. He had been thinking about Amaira and the strange sense of familiarity she invoked. Unable to shake off his curiosity, he decided to dig into her past.
Ahaan called his trusted friend and private investigator, Rajat. "Rajat, I need you to look into someone for me. Her name is Amaira Desai. I have a feeling she might be connected to my past, but I need to be sure."
"Consider it done, Ahaan. I'll get back to you as soon as I have something," Rajat assured him.
As Ahaan waited for the information, he found himself drifting into a flashback.
Flashback: A Childhood Encounter
Ahaan was five years old, playing in the local park with his friends. It was a bright sunny day, and the park was bustling with activity. Ahaan's grandmother had brought him to the park, and he was happily running around, his laughter echoing in the air.
Suddenly, he saw a little girl, about three years old, playing with a toy car. She had a determined look on her face as she pushed the car along the path.
"Hey, that's my spot!" Ahaan said, running up to her.
The girl looked up, her big eyes flashing with defiance. "No, it's not! I was here first!"
"But I play here everyday"Ahaan countered back.
"No you dont you came just today , i always play here "Amaaira retorted back.
They stood there, glaring at each other, until their grandmothers intervened.
"Ahaan, be polite," his grandmother said gently.
"And Amaira, share the space," her grandmother added with a smile.
The two grandmothers exchanged knowing looks and encouraged the children to make up.
"Dadi par ye kehra ki ye iski place hai par main toh yaha roz khelti hu " Amaaira said to her dadi
"Nhi dadi , ye meri place main yaha roz khelta hu'Ahaan said to his dadi.
"Aree toh kya hua aaj sath khel lo tum dono , ho sakta hai tum friends ban jao "Pallavi said to both of them .
"Let's play together," Ahaan finally said, holding out his hand.
Amaira hesitated for a moment, then took his hand with a shy smile. "Okay."
From that day on, they became inseparable, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.
Back to the Present
Ahaan snapped out of his reverie as his phone buzzed. It was Rajat.
"I've sent you the details about Amaira," Rajat said. "Check your email."
Ahaan felt a mix of excitement and apprehension as he opened his laptop. Just as he was about to click on the email, Ivaan walked in.
"Hey, bhaiya, can you sign these files?" Ivaan asked, holding out a stack of documents. "We need to finalize the deal today."
Ahaan nodded, taking the files. "Of course. Let's go over them."
They spent the next hour discussing the deal, reviewing documents, and ensuring everything was in order. By the time they finished, it was evening.
At the Malhotra Mansion
It was one of the lively evening at the mansion when Archana turned to Tara. "How was college today, beta? Did you enjoy your classes?"
"It was good, Mom. Busy, but productive. And Amaira and I went shopping afterward. We got some beautiful jhumkas and bangles," Tara replied enthusiastically.
"That's nice. Did you get to work on any of your designs today?" Archana asked, her tone filled with interest.
"A little bit, yes. I'm still working on that new collection. It's coming along nicely, I think," Tara said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"You should show me your designs sometime. I'd love to see what you've been working on," Archana said warmly.
"Of course, Mom. I'll show you after dinner," Tara promised.
"Mom, you know haan bhai did not take me to concert last weekend , it was my favourite singer performing here " Tara complained, her arms crossed.
Archana looked up from the kitchen counter, where she was chopping vegetables. "He must have had a good reason, Tara. You know how busy he is with work."
"But he promised!" Tara persisted, frustration evident in her voice.
Archana sighed, setting down the knife. "I understand you're disappointed, beta. Why don't you talk to him about it? I'm sure he'll make it up to you."
Just then, their father, Rajesh, walked in, hearing the tail end of the conversation. "What's this about a concert?" he asked, looking between his wife and daughter.
"Ahaan didn't take Tara to the concert he promised her," Archana explained.
Rajesh nodded thoughtfully. "I'll have a word with him."
As if on cue, Ahaan and Ivaan entered the house, their conversation filled with laughter.
"Ohh so the complaint box has started ranting complaints about me haa " Ahaan teased tara , ruffling her hair.
Tara swatted his hand away playfully. "hawww . aap mujhe complaint box bula rhe ho."she turned to her father " dad dekho bhai mujhe kya bulaa rhe hai "she whined . and Rajesh gave a stren glare to Ahaan.
Ivaan laughed. "Looks like someone's in trouble."
"Alright, alright," Ahaan said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "I'll make it up to you, I promise. How about we all go out this weekend?"
Tara's eyes lit up. "Really? You mean it?"
Ahaan nodded, and said with a playful tone . "Of course. Anything that keeps this complaint box shut ."
Tara again whined"mom see how you ladla son always teases me "
Archana said"Ahaan stop it , mat tang kar usse , and tu or ivaan jao , freshn up hok=jao , dinner ready hai ".
Ivaan said"Jee mata shree".
As they finished dinner, Ahaan excused himself and went to his room. He couldn't wait any longer. He opened his laptop and clicked on the email from Rajat.
As he read through the details, his eyes widened in shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The information about Amaira's past was far more revealing than he had anticipated.
A million thoughts raced through his mind as he tried to process the revelation. He knew that this information could change everything, but he also knew he had to tread carefully.
